Ski Trip to Andorra

On Saturday 11th February 2023, 27 of our students, from Year 9 to Year 13, headed to the Pyrenees Mountains in Andorra for six days of skiing.

This exciting trip was a fantastic opportunity for our students - many of whom had never skied before. For the duration of the trip, students received skiing lessons, which helped them to learn and practise a range of new skills that prepared them for the slopes. Everyone made excellent progress, with some students developing their skiing skills all the way to the black slopes!

Although it was an intense six days, our students returned from the trip with a huge sense of pride in how quickly they had picked up a new skill.  Richman, Year 9, who attended the trip said: “Skiing was really enjoyable once you got the hang of it. I wish we could have stayed longer.”

Beyond hitting the slopes, students got to enjoy a range of activities during the residential, including a fun and competitive evening of bowling. There were also plenty of chances to socialise with others on the trip and make new friends.

Thank you to Mr Hankin, Ms Hill and Ms Farrell who attended the trip with the students. The residential provided our students with an incredible experience, which we are sure they will not soon forget.
