Ruislip High School is Outstanding

We are delighted to announce that Ofsted has judged Ruislip High School as Outstanding across all five areas (quality of education; behaviour and attitudes; personal development; leadership and management; and sixth form provision) and Outstanding overall.

The Ofsted report, which was written after our recent Ofsted inspection on the 4th and 5th December 2023, stated that ‘pupils thrive’ at the school and that they ‘receive a highly ambitious education’. As a school, we were particularly proud that the inspectors noted that ‘leaders have placed inclusivity at the heart of school life’, as our school has always been committed to having high aspirations for all our students underpinned by the high expectations that ensures our students reach their undoubted potential.

Inspectors were impressed by all aspects of school life, highlighting the impeccable standards of behaviour; broad range of enrichment opportunities and the rich and highly ambitious curriculum.

On the release of the report, Mr Davies, Headteacher, commented:

“I am immensely proud of the inspection report as it provides external validation of what we already know about our school. I would like to thank the entire school community for the way in which they engaged with this inspection and we look forward to continuing to provide the outstanding, inclusive education that ensures our students ‘thrive’ at Ruislip High School.”

As a school, we are thrilled with the report and believe it is recognition of the hard work and dedication put in by all of our students and staff. We would also like to thank parents and guardians for their ongoing support. At Ruislip High School, we always strive to be a school in the community, for the community - and there is no doubt that the school would not be the outstanding place it is without the dedication and enthusiasm of the entire school community.
