Year 12 Work Experience

In the week commencing 8th June, 150 Year 12 students completed a week-long work experience placement across a wide range of sectors, gaining valuable insight into the world of work and developing key employability skills.

The feedback received from employers has been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising our students for their professionalism, enthusiasm and maturity. Employers described students as a "credit to the school", "a pleasure to host" and "a delight to work with". Their politeness, willingness to learn and strong work ethic were particularly highlighted.

Placements took place across a diverse range of industries, allowing students to explore potential career paths while building confidence and gaining real-world experience. The placements form a significant part of the post-18 provision at Ruislip High School.

Mr Sills, Ms Vora and Ms Bonny are extremely proud of how students represented the school throughout the week.

"We are delighted with the feedback from employers. Year 12 embraced the opportunity, conducted themselves exceptionally well and demonstrated why they are role models for younger students."

A huge thank you goes to all the employers who generously gave their time to support our students and help inspire the next stage of their career journeys. The exemplary conduct of our students has left such a positive impression on employers that many organisations
have already expressed an interest in hosting future Ruislip High School students for work experience placements.
