World of Work Month 2025
Ruislip High School'sĀ annual World of Work Month is currently taking place throughout June. World of Work Month aims to provide students with exposure to various career pathways and interactions with employers.
Here's what's happening:
Year 12 Work Experience: Our Year 12 students are currently undertaking their work experience placements this week, gaining insight into the professional world.
Key Stage 3 Talks: Key Stage 3 students will hear from higher education institutions like Access Creative College and ASK Apprenticeships, will be hosting assemblies for year 8 and 9, outlining alternative routes into industries.
Medical Mavericks for Year 7: Year 7 students will experience a day focused on the medical profession with 'Medical Mavericks', a returning event that is consistently a highlight of our careers calendar.
Careers Focus in Lessons: There's an increased emphasis on careers within regular lessons, helping students connect their learning to future opportunities.
