VLT Table Tennis Competition 2025

On Wednesday 18th June, 2025, our PE Department took four Year 7 students to represent Ruislip High School in the annual Vanguard Learning Trust Table Tennis Competition. 

The students played doubles against each of The Trust schools, in a round robin format, with the best of three games taking 3 points for their school. The competition finished in a draw between RHS and the Hermitage School team, with both teams finishing with 24 points. 

It was then on to a tense finale, as RHS went against Hermitage in a one match, winner takes all competition. In the end our team was victorious - winning the game 11-6! 

This is the third year in a row Ruislip High school have outplayed the competition and returned with the first-place trophy. Congratulations to all of our players - well done for scoring a hat trick victory for the school!
