Presentation Evening 2025

Thursday 6th November 2025, was a truly unforgettable evening as Ruislip High School hosted its annual Presentation Evening, celebrating the outstanding achievements, dedication, and commitment of our students.

The event gathered students, staff, families, and distinguished guests to honour academic excellence and contribution across all subject areas and special categories. The atmosphere was one of immense pride and celebration for the hard work demonstrated by our young people throughout the year.

The evening featured an inspirational speech from our guest speaker, Jonathan Marcos. Jonathan spoke about his life growing up in London and how he learned discipline, resilience and lessons for life through his commitment to basketball and his connections with Mr Joseph. This helped him to achieve success academically at university, in his career as an actuary and currently as a treasury and capital markets analyst managing an asset allocation for £300 million, and in his involvement in the Ball Out 3x3 charity. His message about the
impact our daily decisions can make in our lives reinforced the importance of hard work and setting goals to succeed.

We were also honoured to welcome several notable guests, including The Deputy Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Reeta Chamdal along with Flt Lt James Bailey and WO Nikita Lydon from RAF Northolt.

The evening was enhanced by a wonderful display of the school’s performing arts talent, including piano soloists, the RHS Brass Band and the RHS choir. Students’ flair for performance was showcased in a dramatic excerpt from A Christmas Carol.

It was a truly wonderful evening celebrating the success of our students and acknowledging the support from their families and the entire school community. We congratulate all the award recipients and look forward to seeing their future accomplishments.
