Celebration and Success for Ruislip High School's Year 13 Class of 2026
Students and staff at Ruislip High School are celebrating another year of exceptional A-Level and Level 3 BTEC achievements, with Year 13 leavers securing places at top UK universities, degree apprenticeships, and competitive career pathways.
Following two years of dedicated study, the Class of 2026 returned to school this morning to collect their results. School leaders praised the cohort for their resilience, hard work, and ambitious spirit throughout their post-16 journey.
Commenting on the cohort's achievements, Mr L. Sills, Head of Sixth Form, said:
"It has been an absolute privilege to support this brilliant cohort of young adults through their Sixth Form journey. Today’s results are a testament not only to their academic dedication, but to their personal growth and strength of character. Whether moving on to Russell Group universities, high-level apprenticeships, or straight into the world of work, our students have shown what can be achieved through hard work. We are immensely proud of every single one of them and wish them every success in their next chapter."
Mr G. Davies, Headteacher, added:

These results reflect our students' sustained hard work and determination, as well as the tireless support of our staff, families, and wider school community. As our young people prepare to embark on their next steps, whether heading to university, beginning higher apprenticeships, stepping into employment, or taking a gap year, they leave us as confident, ambitious, and well-rounded individuals. Student Success Stories & Post-16 Destinations
Among the many standout achievements across the Year 13 cohort:
Velizar achieved grades, A*,A*,A, and has secured a place to study Mathematics and Physics at University of Warwick.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my teachers and everyone who has supported me throughout my time at Ruislip HIgh School. Their encouragement, guidance and belief in me have helped me grow both academically and personally. I’m genuinely grateful for all the support I’ve received, especially during the more challenging moments. I’ll always appreciate the memories, lessons and people I’ve met along the way, and I’ll take all of that with me as I move on to the next chapter."
Rahul achieved grades, A*,A*,A* and will be heading to The University of Manchester to study Physics.
“Ruislip High School has been the cornerstone of my life for the past seven years, so it’s such a bittersweet ending. I’m going to miss the routine and the environment that all of the teachers have created within the school. I couldn’t have accomplished everything I have without the support of my Learning Mentors and Heads of Year throughout Sixth Form."
Eleni achieved grades C,C,C and is taking up a competitive Apprenticeship programme in Engineering at Heathrow Airport.
“Opening my envelope this morning was such a relief and a huge moment for me. I’m so grateful to the teaching staff here for always believing in me and pushing me to do my best. Securing an engineering apprenticeship is a dream come true, and I’m so excited to take this next step into the industry.”
This year’s results reflect the strong academic standards sustained at Ruislip High School, with 51% of all All A-Level entries awarded top grades of A*–B and 75% achieving A*–C. We also had fantastic success with our vocational courses, 64% of entries awarded Distinction* or Distinction. The overwhelming majority of Year 13 leavers successfully secured their first-choice destinations, with students preparing to transition smoothly into higher education, degree apprenticeships, and employment across the UK.
