Cover Supervisor and Pastoral Administrator -

Salary: £18,920-£20,317 per annum (Grade 4 inclusive of Outer London Weighting) 
Hours: 35.75 hours per week - 7:45am to 3:30pm (Monday to Thursday) 7:45am to 3:00pm (Friday) (term time only plus five INSET days)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly effective individual to become our Cover Supervisor and Pastoral Administrator.

The purpose of the role is:

  • to ensure the smooth running of cover lessons in the Learning Computer Centre (LCC) and classrooms
  • to cover the Back on Track (BoT) facility and to supervise internally excluded students
  • to assist the pastoral team with administration work

The successful applicant will:

  • have the necessary IT skills to undertake pastoral administrative tasks

Aspirant Teacher -

Salary: Unqualified Teaching Scale 1 £20,441 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly effective individual to become our Aspirant Teacher. This role would be ideally suited to a recent graduate who is looking to enter the teaching profession and/or work in education.

The purpose of the role is:

  • To provide high-quality cover support for lessons across the curriculum
  • To cover lessons, tutorials and support with various duties throughout the school day, including break and lunchtime supervision

Once the post holder has shown a competency in behaviour management (this is envisaged in term three or four following commencement of the role), there will also be the opportunity to teach individuals, groups and whole classes across the school.

IT Assistant -

CLOSING DATE: 10:00am, Tuesday 19th November 2019 

Salary: £17,425 per annum (Grade 1 inclusive of Outer London Weighting)
Hours: 36 hours per week (five days per week)
(8:00am to 3:45pm Monday - Thursday; 8:00am to 3:30pm Friday)
Term-time only plus 5 INSET days
Contract: Fixed-term until July 2020. A similar role may be available from September 2020 offering more training opportunities.

Required as soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly effective individual to join our IT department. The successful applicant will work with the school’s IT team to provide basic IT hardware/software support.

The duties of the role will include assisting with providing first line IT support to the school; supporting, troubleshooting and maintain basic hardware and educational software; assisting with setting up new IT and IT related equipment (eg. PCs, laptops, printers, projectors and others). The post-holder will be expected to move IT equipment around the school as and when required whilst observing Health and Safety standards as well as the correct manual handling techniques.

This is a varied role and would suit someone with IT experience (although not essential) and who is looking to develop their career.
