Key Stage 5 results day, Tuesday 10th August 2021
Students at Ruislip High School have celebrated their A-level and Level 3 vocational results today. School staff followed a rigorous process to determine students’ teacher assessed grades (TAGs) in line with Ofqual’s guidance. Today’s results are a testament to the hard work and resilience of students, families and school staff after an incredibly challenging year.
The school is pleased that the vast majority of Year 13 students who applied for higher education courses have secured the grades to progress to their chosen course, which includes Law at the University of Cambridge, Medicine at the University of Nottingham, Medicine at Imperial College London, Medicine at the University of Southampton and Computer Science at Royal Holloway, University of London.

I am so excited to read Law at the University of Cambridge. I would like to say a huge thank you for the support given to me by the school - from the opportunity to attend Lumina, personal statement support, preparing for interviews, and just generally building my confidence. I would like to say a special thank you to both Ms Horton for always being there for me as the Head of Sixth Form and to my Head of Year Mr Peacock for always being a fountain of knowledge and support.

I am over the moon - make that out of this galaxy. I am so happy with my results and I cannot wait to go to Royal Holloway to study Computer Science and fulfil my dreams of a career in computing. I would like to thank all of my teachers for their support, encouragement, determination and belief in me. I could not have got where I am without you all. I’ve made my mum cry with joy!
