GCSE results are announced
Ruislip High School's GCSE results are in line with the excellent results achieved over the last three years.
The school’s headline figures remain exceedingly strong and nearly all students who had applied to the sixth form attained the grades to progress to their chosen Level 3 courses. These figures reflect the hard work and dedication of students and staff.
Performance at the top end was particularly strong, with 25% of all grades being 9-7 grades and 22 students, equating to 12% of the cohort, attaining seven or more 9-7 grades. In total, 35 students attained 5 or more 9-7 grades. There are examples of outstanding performance in a number of subject areas, including Biology, with 16 students attaining grade 9s, equating to 59% of the Biology cohort. Full subject information can be accessed via the school's website in the ‘about us’ section.

'I feel brilliant - I am so happy with my grades. I joined the school from Slovakia four years ago and have attained eight grade 9s and two grade 8s. I would like to thank all of my teachers, but particularly Mr Hankin and Mr Gould for their belief in me.'
'I am delighted to attain straight 9 and 8 grades in my GCSEs. I would like to thank all of my teachers, particularly Ms Dhaliwal and Ms Kohli, for working tirelessly to support me in Biology and Maths. I am looking forward to following in my brother’s footsteps - he left Ruislip High School two years ago to attend the University of Cambridge - whilst carving out my own path.'
'I feel elated that all of my hard work has paid off and I have attained seven grades 9s and two grade 8s. I want to thank everyone who has taught me, especially Ms Horton who has taught me History for for the past five years and Mr Gould for giving me a passion for Physics.'
