Hillingdon Library MembershipMembership of Hillingdon Public Libraries The Learning Resource Centre will soon be using the same database information system as the Hillingdon public libraries. Students will be learning how to use this system at school, skills which they will be able to utilize at the public library. Hillingdon public libraries have a wealth of resources available on the web. To access these resources, students need to be a member of the public library. (All Hillingdon school students are eligible to join the library). Students will soon be learning all about these resources at school and how to make best use of them.
To ensure all students have access to the Hillingdon resources, we have made a special arrangement with the public library service for Ruislip High Students to join the library through the school.
ALREADY A LIBRARY MEMBER?If you are already a member of the Hillingdon Library Service, please let us know your Library Card Number. This will enable us to ensure everyone can access Hillingdon e-resources in the LRC. Students should bring the number to the LRC. HOW TO JOIN THE PUBLIC LIBRARY Application forms are available from the LRC or your local library. Forms should be completed and taken to your local library along with the proofs of identity stated on the form. When students receive their library cards, they should bring them to the LRC so that we can record their membership number. Thank you.
