The Learning Resource Centre is available daily for study from 3.00 until 4.45 pm.

Homework support - a member of the SEN dept. will be in the LRC each evening to help SEN students.

Information for students for sports activities

You must have your parents / carers written permission in your planners before being allowed to attend any club.

Volleyball

Anyone can come to the Open session after school on Mondays. However, you must be invited by the coach in order to attend the morning Academy sessions.

Wear your indoor PE Kit.

Table Tennis / Badminton

This is recreational and limited by the short time available at lunchtimes. Year 7’s set up the equipment and year 8’s put it away.

You do not need PE kit except for indoor trainers.

Netball

Year 7 and 8 train together. Wear your indoor PE kit, but you may wish to wear your rugby top or tracksuit as the weather gets colder.

Futsal & Brazillian Soccer

You may wear your rugby top or tracksuit as the weather gets colder. You must wear your long green socks and have shin guards otherwise you will not be permitted to participate. Futsal is in the sports hall (clean trainers) but Brazillian Soccer may be on the astro or field, so you must have trainers and studded boots (or blades).

Cheerleading

You are free to go home after school and return before in time for the club to start. You may wear whatever you like provided it is appropriate for this gymnastic activity. Always have your indoor trainers.

Basketball and Dance

Wear indoor PE kit.

IMPORTANT:

1- You must have written permission from your parents / carers before you can attend any club. This could either be a note to us in your planner or a letter.

2- You must have the correct kit including any inhalers. We will not look after your valuables.

YOU MUST TRY TO ATTEND AT LEAST ONE CLUB EACH WEEK.
