Trip to the BBC

On Monday 15th January six students from Years 10 and 11 were invited by Professor Brian Cox and Robin Ince to see a recording of The Infinite Monkey Cage at BBC Broadcasting House. This was as a thank you for the students appearing on the Victoria Derbyshire show back in October. It was on the teenage brain and Sarah-Jayne Blakemore was on the panel (she is one of the most eminent academics in the field). It was a wonderful experience for all.

Tariq said “I never realised my brain was changing so much.”

Reem said “It was a fantastic experience to be part of the audience at the radio show. It was a great evening.”

Thank you to Dr Martina Lecky, Mr Gould and Ms Jeff for taking the students.
